Dr. Sebi Nutritional Guide – Dr. Sebi Food Guide

Natural Medicine to Reverse Disease
Herbalist Dr. Sebi used natural food to develop the Dr. Sebi Nutritional Guide, or Dr. Sebi Food Guide. They help to rejuvenate the body at the intra-cellular level. The Dr. Sebi nutritional guide promotes an alkaline plant based diet based on eating natural alkaline foods, which reduce excessive mucus production and chronic inflammation. Excessive mucus production and chronic inflammation are the root causes for the development of disease in the body.
When you regularly eat acidic foods, which include meat, dairy, and process foods, you set off a reaction that leads to chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation supports the development of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
The process of chronic inflammation attacks the mucus membrane of organs, leaving them vulnerable to disease. Chronic inflammation results in excessive mucus production, while the process keeps attacking organs and compromising their health.
Blood Alkalinity
The Dr. Sebi nutritional guide supports eating an alkaline plant based diet. The foods on the guide provide natural medicine that best supports the slightly alkaline 7.45 pH of the blood. This forms the foundation for Dr. Sebi’s methodology, the African Bio Mineral Balance, which states that an acidic environment in the body support disease development. Let’s examine the consequences when the eating an acidic diet.
The health of the blood controls the health of the body. When we regularly consume acidic food we force the body to use its buffering systems to properly maintain a 7.45 pH level in the blood. Stroke can occur when the level drops or raises. We are also overuse the buffering system when we regularly consume acidic foods. The body then turns to stripping alkaline material from other areas of the body to put in the bloodstream to stabilize its pH. This promotes chronic inflammation and the body attacking itself.
Dr. Sebi’s approach to disease is disease:
“disease finds it genesis when and where the mucous membrane has been compromised. For example, if there is excess mucous in the bronchial tubes, the disease is Bronchitis; if it is in the lungs, the disease is Pneumonia; in the pancreatic duct, it is Diabetes; in the joints Arthritis.”
The foods featured in the Dr. Sebi nutritional guide, along with the herbs integral to Dr. Sebi’s methodology, have laid the cornerstone for numerous holistic and herbal practitioners.
Spring Water!
Dr. Sebi and health organizations suggest drinking around one gallon of water day. Dr. Sebi recommends drinking spring water.
The adult body consists of approximately 70% water. Maintaining the proper level of water is crucial for the optimal performance of the body’s metabolic processes. Water plays a very important role in waste elimination, providing cushioning to joints and organs, and facilitating absorbing nutrients.
No Microwave
Avoid the harmful radiation and chemical leaching from the microwaving process.
Avoid eating highly hybridized foods
Dr. Sebi strongly advocates for the consumption of foods in their more primal, unaltered state. This philosophy avoids consuming highly hybridized plant food and forced hybridized plant food, like the carrot.
Cross-pollinating two or more plants produces a hybrid plant, resulting in plants less recognized by the body’s digestive system. It changes the genetic structure, electrical composition, and pH balance.
The Dr. Sebi food guide provides a selection of natural alkaline vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains, and legumes that work as our part of our natural medicine. You can gain a comprehensive understanding of this dietary philosophy and lifestyle by reading my “Alkaline Plant Based Diet” book.
Dr. Sebi also used natural alkaline herbs, as part of his natural medicine, to purify the body’s cells at the cellular and intra-cellular level. Learn more about to us Dr. Sebi’s herbs in my book, “Alkaline Herbal Medicine”.
