Boost Your Immune System With Wakame Seaweed

Wakame is a seaweed that is on the Dr. Sebi Nutritional Guide, and with good reason.

Studies have shown that Wakame can quadruple the replication of T Cells.[1] T Cells, or T lymphocytes, are a type of white blood cell that plays a key role in the body’s immune system.

T Cells are natural killer cells that target viruses, cancer, and old worn out cells. These killer recognize antigens, toxins and foreign substances, and are able to combine with and destroy them.

In this study[2] people with HSV-1 (herpes simplex 1), HSV-2 (herpes simplex 2), and other forms of herpes were given 2 grams of wakame a day. This is equivalent to a quarter cup of seaweed salad.

All fifteen patients with active herpes infection saw a significant reduction or disappearance of symptoms without any adverse side effects.

The researchers also found the wakame boosted the body’s production of antibodies, which further boosts the immune system against viruses, cancer, and other antigens.[3]
