The ideal diet to promote well-being, energy, stamina, youthfulness, shining and tight skin, ideal weight, and healthy living is a 80/10/10 vegan whole food diet, which is represented in the vegan food pyramid diagram. You can find a list of alkalizing health supporting foods on this vegan shopping list and a more in depth explanation in this nutritional guide.

An 80/10/10 diet consists of 80% carbohydrates, 10% fat, and 10% protein. We also want to drink plenty of water. It is suggested that men drink 1 gallon of water a day, and women drink 3/4 gallon of water a day. Exercise plays a key role in supporting healthy living, which could be in the form of walking or power-walking everyday, jumping rope, to more strenuous workouts like the boxing I do.

Ideally we should get most of our calories from fruits and vegetables because they supply us with quick energy, and are loaded with a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that strengthen our organs, alkalize our bodies, and fight disease.
