Vegan Boxer Working Out
The Perception of the Malnourished Vegan?
I am writing the article to do my part in dispelling the myth the vegans are weak and malnourished because of our diets. My energy and my stamina have benefited so much from my vegan diet. I labor much less doing the same workout exercise as I did before. I am getting back into a regular workout routine, working out at least three days a week. I do sit-ups every weekday morning. The video below is of a recent workout.
My workout consisted of: stretching for about 10 minutes, 3 rounds of shadow boxing (1 round is 3 minutes), 6 rounds of heavy bag work, 3 rounds of speed bag work, and 20 minutes on the elliptical machine. As I continue my workouts I intend to increase my time on the elliptical machine (focusing on the cardiovascular stamina) and I may increase my rounds on the heavy bag.
I do have to say I feel I get less winded and fatigued during workouts after I started drinking a goji-berry | curcumin drink mix every morning. The goji berry link will take you to a goji-berry article where Dr. Marcial-Vega explains in his video the benefits of goji-berry which he treated his cancer patients with. The benefit of goji-berry that I feel helps me with my workouts is that the goji-berry juice helps to oxygenate the blood cells and improves blood circulation.
I want to show my cousin that I have lost wait because I have cleansed my body and organs, which has resulted in me removing toxins, waste, and fat from my body, and I haven't lost weight because I am malnourished. We as a people are becoming so overweight and unhealthy, and we can do something about it. You don't have to become a vegan, but I think it is a good idea to gain an understanding of its benefits, and incorporate some of them into our daily lives.
