How Not To Die From Cancer
How Not To Die From Cancer
“How Not To Die From Cancer?” You guessed it. Eat a plant based diet. Dr. Greger’s video below indicated the study “Cancer incidence in vegetarians…”[1] showed the “incidence of all cancers combined was lower among vegetarians than among meat eaters.”
The study “Low protein intake is associated with a major reduction in IGF-1…”[2] indicated middle aged men and women with high animal protein intake had a 75% increase in overall mortality and a 4 times increase in cancer death.
The consumption of animal protein increased the level of IGF-1 in the body. Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) is a growth hormone in humans that has a similar molecular structure to insulin and plays an important part in the growth of children.
The study “Growth hormone receptor deficiency…”[3] identified that the consumption of animal protein an its IGF-1 promoted the growth of cancer cells.Eating a plant based diet slowed the growth of cancer cells and increased the death of cancer cells.
Power Of Plants Over Cancer
Scientists were able to determine the cancer stopping power of a plant based diet by dipping blood drawn from people fed a plant based diet on cancer cells.
The study “Intensive lifestyle changes…”[4] showed the blood of people fed a plant based diet had 8 times the cancer fighting power than the blood of participants eating a Standard American Diet (SAD).
Plant Based Diet And Prostrate Cancer
The study also showed you could halt the the progression of prostate cancer just by eating a plant based diet. The image the plant based diet cut a patient’s PSA by nearly 2 ng/ml in one year.
Plant Based Diet And Breast Cancer
Researchers performed the same study with women who had breast cancer. Researchers performed the study over a shorter period of time, over 14 days on 3 different types of breast cancer.
The adoption of a plant based diet greatly increased their blood’s ability to slow the progression of cancer and to kill cancer cells.
