Ginger Treats Migraine Headaches As Well As Drugs

Ginger treats migraine headaches as well as pharmaceutical drugs, but the drug industry won’t tell you that. The market for migraine drugs is worth billions of dollars, and by 2023 the market for migraine drugs is projected to reach $3.7 billion.[1] A few cents worth of powder ginger was found to work as well the migraine drug sumatriptan. In this study,[2] subjects took either one capsule containing 250mg of ginger powder, or 50mg of sumatriptan and they both worked equally. Ginger worked as well as the drug without the side effects of the drug that included: dizziness, heartburn, a sedative effect, vertigo, heart attack, and death.
