Corrupting Our Food Supply – Non Browning GMO Apples
Hot news, “Okanagan Specialty Fruits develops the GMO non browning apple!” This apple is known as the “Artic” apple. I don’t think non browning GMO Apples is a solution we need.
I have realized that many people will develop anything if they can make a profit from it, whether it is good or bad.
Mankind’s quest for knowledge leads him/her towards understanding of DNA sequencing not just for understanding but to manipulate and make a profit.
Arguments for the use of DNA manipulation is that it can be used to cure disease. Well I say, stop corrupting the foods we eat which cause disease and then we then need to find a way to treat the disease.
This is a cycle of the human commodity. Corrupt the body and generate business and technology to find ways to fix the corruption. It is a never ending business as long as humans are alive.
Life is made in a synergistic way from the nutrients and compounds they earth provides. They work together to provide more than the sum of their parts. We call this nature.
Our bodies have developed in the same synergistic way from components of the earth as the vegetation of the earth has developed, and our bodies recognize the natural structure of this organic food.
GMO change the natural structure of the food we eat and introduce foreign substances into our bodies which undermine our health.
Now another GMO product is soon to be introduced into our food supply that will undermine our health.
Okanagan Specialty Fruits licensed the technique of genetically modifying the natural enzymatic browning process of the apple from the Australian research institute.
These enzymes assist proper digestion but the GMO industry will never tell you that. The truth is scientists have no idea what long term effects of GMOs will be, but money drives the continual development of GMOs.
