Bad Nutrition Kills More People Than Cigarettes
The number one cause of death and disability in the United States is bad nutrition.[1] Smoking cigarettes has had and still has a detrimental effect on health, but bad nutrition has bumped cigarette smoking to the number two on the killers list.
Smoking cigarettes is responsible for killing around a half million Americans every year and now bad nutrition kills a couple of hundred of thousand more on top of that.
Most death and disability is related to nutrition and is preventable.
