Detoxify The Body For Healthy Living

I have been pretty health conscious, and I have gradually removed meat from my diet.

This made me feel good, and I like feeling good and feeling energized.

I thought my journey had ended when I removed pork, beef, and poultry from my diet.  My diet then consisted of fish, and ate a little dairy.

I then bumped into some information from an herbalist healer named Dr. Sebi, which made me rethink my position.

Dr. Sebi’s claims did seem to be pretty far out there. I researched his methodology and and it made sense, so I decided to give his method a try.

I adopted a plant based diet and I detoxified my body with alkaline herbs.

His basic method of healing is to eat an alkaline diet.

You do this by removing meat, dairy, an processed foods from the diet, while eating alkaline foods that detoxify the body such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes, and alkalizing grains on the Dr. Sebi nutritional guide.

Dr. Sebi’s method of healing removed excess mucus from the body. Excessive mucus production is the foundation of disease in the body.

Detoxify The Body To Restore Your Health

After researching the herbs Dr. Sebi used, I developed a list of herbs based on Dr. Sebi’s tonics which I used as part of a three month deep cleanse which included herbs like bladderwrack/irish moss, burdock root, dandelion, elderberry, mullein, and sarsaparilla.

I was a pescatarian for several years before I adopted a alkaline plant base diet. I was also pretty active.

This made me feel pretty comfortable using a combination of herbs that targeted and detoxed my organs all at the same time.

Dr. Sebi’s complete use of herbs targeted cleaning the whole body on the intracellular level. This involved cleaning the body to the inside of its cells.

His complete herbal packages cleaned all the systems and organs of the body.  This included the digestive tract, blood, brain and nervous system, lymphatic system, kidneys, liver, lungs, and bones.

You can also use individual products to target specific organs and systems.

Detoxify the Colon and Digestive Tract

The colon or large intestine’s major job is to absorb water from indigestible food, compact it into waste material (feces) and pass it from the body.

A person with a healthy colon will have multiple bowel movements throughout the day.

Many people do not have healthy colons because their diets consist of a high amount of meat, dairy, and processed foods.

These foods contain a lot of toxins and lack a fiber, and gets putrefied in the colon.

A colon cleanse will help to remove the built up waste and toxins from the body.

Detoxify The Blood

Cleaning the blood removes toxins, fungus, bacteria, and viruses from the bloodstream, and it improves circulation.

Detoxify The Kidneys

The kidneys maintain a water/mineral balance in the body.  They also regulate blood pressure, and filter waste from the blood in the form of urine.

Proper water intake is essential in cleaning the kidneys.

Many of the herbs I listed that detox the kidneys are diuretics. They  strip water from the body, and they elevate the rate of urination.

Increasing the amount of water you drink in itself is a kidney cleanse because it flushes toxins from the kidneys.

Detoxify The Liver and Gallbladder

The liver screens the blood for toxins, viruses and bacteria. It also detoxifies alcohol and certain drugs, and plays a major part in the supporting the body’s immune system.

The liver makes bile and uses it to breakdown fats and to remove toxins from the liver.

The gallbladder stores bile. Large amounts of processed foods, alcohol, and toxins we consume overwhelm the liver and gallbladder.

A liver cleanse can help to remove these toxins and help restore the liver and gallbladder.

Detoxify The Body – Small Intestine

The small intestine absorbs nutrients from food the stomach partially digests.

Acidic and mucus heavy diets cause excess mucus called mucoid.  It lines the walls of thesmall intestines and interferes with the absorption of nutrients in the bloodstream.

A small intestine cleanse can help to remove this harmful mucoid.
