This solar powered DIY air conditioner is a perfect compliment for off-grid living. The DIY air conditioner was made using:
- A 5 gallon bucket – drill 2 1/4 inch holes in bucket
- A styrofoam liner – 2 1/8 inch holes in liner
- 1 1/2 inch internal diameter PVC pipe
- Small fan
- Frozen gallon of water
- 15W Solar panel – The setup can be used without a solar and can still reduce your electric bill
The DIY air conditioner put out air in a 40 degree fahrenheit range. The one gallon of frozen water lasted for six hours.
This is another version of the DIY air conditioner.
