Why Is Eating Meat Bad All Of A Sudden?
Is Eating Meat Bad For The Health?
Is eating meat bad? I eat a plant based diet, and I don’t eat meat anymore. I even don’t eat fish anymore, and I love fish. I just love something more now, my health!
I am not a meat snob, and the reason I do not eat meat is not because I think eating meat is wrong. I just think there are numerous reasons now why eating meat is bad for our health.
Eating meat is a natural part of life and it happens all throughout nature. There are meat eating animals and vegetation eating animals and this is the way God made it, or the way nature made it. We just happen to be both.
The issue now is that we eat too much meat. Access to meat is much easier for us now than is was in the past, and the large amount of meat we eat is harmful to our healthy living. The factory farmed meat we eat is now full of fat, hormones, antibiotics, disease, GMO contaminated material, and additives and preservatives due to factory farming and production methods.
These substances are bad for our health, attack our bodies, and compromise our immune system. Factory farmed animals are also treated inhumanely and we are the only species on earth that treats our food supply in such a way. This is why eating meat is bad.
Meat’s Bad Wrap
I advocate for a plant based diet because I think it is the most healing diet, but I also feel we can be healthy eating small portions of meat. This portion should be a maximum of 10% of our diet. The body can compensate for bad material introduced into to it by consuming meat, if it has enough healing nutrients from plant based life to counterbalance meat’s negative properties.
The body needs to be in a slightly alkaline state to support healthy living. A plant based diet provides that alkaline state, while eating meat supports an acidic state in the body. We do need acidic material for healthy living, but we also get all the acidic material we need from plant based life.
Plant based life provides the balance we need along with its special and abundant healing nutrients: antioxidants and phytonutrients.
Now if one chooses to eat meat, the 10% meat protein needs to be meat from grass feed animals, and naturally raised fish. Grass feed animals are raised the way they would be in nature and are not pumped full of unnatural substances which we eat and then compromise our immune systems.
