Dr. Sebi Was Arrested And Died In Jail. Now He Was Found Not Guilty
On May 28, 2016, authorities arrested Alfredo Bowman. The beloved herbalist popularly known as Dr. Sebi. They arrested him and his business partner Pablo Medina on money laundering charges at the Honduras Juan Manuel Galvez de Roatan Airport, on May 28, 2016. Dr. Sebi later died in jail on August 6, 2016. It is a tragedy Dr. Sebi died because of the conditions he faced in jail, and the courts found Dr. Sebi Not Guilty after he died.
Dr. Sebi’s Arrest
Authorities detained Dr. Sebi on suspicion of money laundering on May 28, 2016 along with Pablo Medina Gamboa after their flight from California landed at the Juan Manuel Galvez de Roatan Airport. Authorities detained Dr. Sebi for possessing $37,000 as he and Gamboa attempted to board another plane to La Ceiba, Honduras.

The Civil Court from Roatan decreed judicial detention for the naturist Alfredo Darrington Bowman and the Mexican Pablo Medina Gamboa for not being able to justify more than $20000 that they were carrying when they were leaving Juan Manuel Galvez airport. Mario Carballo informed us.
Authorities released Dr. Sebi to appear before the court on June 3, 2016 to verify where the money originated. The Public Ministero imprisoned Dr. Sebi on charges of money laundering after his June 3, 2016 hearing.
Dr. Sebi Became Ill in Jail
While in jail, the 82 year old Dr. Sebi lived in unsanitary living conditions and and ate unsanitary food. He didn’t have access to his herbal medications. Dr. Sebi to became ill with pneumonia on August 5, 2016 and his condition quickly worsened. Dr. Sebi died in transit to Vicente D’antoni Hospital in La Ceiba, Honduras on August 6, 2016.
La Prensa reported, Dr. Edwin Interiano admitted Dr. Sebi to the hospital. He stated, authorities did not give him information about Dr. Sebi’s treatment in jail.
Garden Bowman, his brother, had questions about how Dr. Sebi died, and if something underhanded happened. He said he entered Dr. Sebi’s cell to find he wasn’t breathing and presumably dead.

Dr. Sebi Found Not Guilty
11/8/2016: The Court in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, found Dr. Sebi and Pablo Medina NOT GUILTY of Money Laundering on 11/8/2016. On 11/09/2016 Dr Sebi’s L.A. office released this statement “After 5 long months of battling against injustice and heartless individuals, justice was finally made and Dr. Sebi’s memory and integrity will remain intact…Likewise, we are very happy to announce that our beloved friend, Pablo Medina, was set free from prison yesterday and he is on his way home, to his family here at Dr. Sebi’s Cell Food. Pablo has been Dr. Sebi’s disciple and friend for many years and stood loyal by his side until Dr. Sebi’s final days.”
