Aquion Energy Battery Systems For Going Off-Grid
Aquion Energy manufactures its proprietary Aqueous Hybrid Ion batteries to provide affordable off-grid power storage. The batteries come in an S-Line ~2.4 kWh systems at 48V nominal composed of 8 stacked batteries, and an M-Line ~25.5 kWh systems composed of twelve Aquion S-Line Battery Stacks in a parallel configuration.
S-Line products deliver extremely long cycle life, deep depth of discharge and excellent abuse tolerance. The batteries’ high performance, coupled with ease of integration, safety, and sustainability, makes them an ideal choice for stationary long-duration, daily cycling applications including off-grid and microgrids, energy management and grid-scale services.
Aquion Hybird Ion batteries are made with abundant non-toxic and sustainable materials. The batteries contain a manganese oxide cathode, carbon composite anode, synthetic cotton separator, and a water-based electrolyte.
These eco-friendly batteries are made with saltwater, cost less and last up to ten times longer than traditional batteries currently used in solar home systems.
