Dogs Join The Battle Against Cancer During The American Cancer Society’s ‘Bark For Life’ of Oklahoma City

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life took place in Oklahoma City on August 29, 2015. The fundraising event is a noncompetitive walk for dogs and their owners to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer.

The event took place at Hafer Park, 1034 S Bryant St, in Edmond Oklahoma. The day consisted not only of a walk, but was also filled with games, demonstrations, and contests for both the dogs and their owners.

Yes, the day was a success! The Bark For Life event was made up of ten teams and thirty-five participants and raised $15,665.48. Money raised goes to help The American Cancer Society continue the battle against cancer.
