Meditation Appears To Mediate Cellular Aging – Yes I Know
Hey, be cool. It adds years to your life, and if you don’t believe me there is science to back up the claim. Though it is nice to have science to back up claims like this, I don’t rely on science. If I did rely on science I wouldn’t be living my life like it is golden. My health is great, my mind is clear, and my emotional state is beautiful. My plant-based life played a great part in this, along with my spiritual devotion.
I had to make conscious decisions to change my behavior and my change in behavior has led to a great metamorphosis of mind, spirit, and body. I had to slow down, and be comfortable being slowed down. People have been conditioned to being fast paced and always having to be into something to feel complete, and this is aging our cells more rapidly.
Stress is a killer and meditation combats stress. Stress shortens telomeres, which are caps on the tips of chromosomes that appear to slow the aging of our cells. We need to take control of our lives from this fast paced world, because the meek shall inherit the earth.
