High Alkaline Foods
High alkaline foods are plant foods, but specifically are non-hybrid plant foods. Meat, dairy, and processed foods are acidic and compromise homeostasis the health of the body.
Eating high alkaline foods support homeostasis, the normal functioning of organs, and metabolic functions, by feeding the body more alkaline minerals and compounds that keep the pH of the blood at 7.4.
The body works hard to maintain 7.4 pH level in the blood and dropping below that results in metabolic acidosis, illness, and death.
The body compensates for the consumption of acidic foods that make the body acidic by leaching calcium from the bones to put into the bloodstream to keep it at a 7.4 pH.
This is how vitally important it is to keep the pH in the blood slightly alkaline, but the compensatory process does have its drawbacks.
The process compromises the health of the body and can result in osteoporosis, candida overgrowth, a weakened immune system, and many more illnesses.
It is vitally important to keep the blood’s pH at 7.4 because when it becomes acidic it interferes with the delivery of oxygen to the whole body and paralyzes white blood cells.
